    NO SCHOOL Tuesday- SNOW DAY!

    IN THE KNOW...
Did you know that students can create graphs in an easy way without having graphing applications? Below is a wonderful ONLINE (no downloading) site. I invite students to practice plotting data and seeing how the graphs can change. Have fun!

Meet My New Technician! Students had to turn in "applications" explaining why they were highly qualified to take on the role of class technician. A technician sets up equipment and checks to see that everything is returned in perfect order. Cierra comes in early and stays after school to get equipment set up. She also helps in class if students have issues (such as where they are supposed to go). Cierra is a responsible student who understands how to use our class technology. Cierra can set up the ActiviBoard and navigate through just about ALL of the applications. I trust her to help substitutes use the board when I am out. I am proud to have her as my assistant. Thanks for being such a big help!

The 21st Century Group of Teachers. I want to thank these ladies for their innovative ideas and allowing each other to discover the reality of technology coming alive in classrooms. Without collaboration, this would not be possible. I thank this group for assisting me in managing a 21st Century Class!
"Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. The ability to direct individual accomplishments toward organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results." Andrew Camegie

Sample Movie Created by Mary Kate! Students researched a natural disaster, wrote a story (could be fiction or non fiction)and had to include factual information. Students used Garage Band to import pics and tell the story. Last step was converting their m4a files into imovie and convert as a quick time. MANY STEPS and they turned out AWESOME!
